Pokemon

Not the anime series but the games are probably one of the funnest games I have ever played. I have played all of them seen just about every pokemon and used them in battle. Now there are 493 of them and I want to which one is favorite one and what is your favorite game series. I love Blastoise and my favorite game series is G/S/C (Gold Silver and Crystal)

Wii Internet

The Internet on the Wii is mediocre. It is laggy but playable for some games. Brawl with lag makes the game frustrating and nearly unplayable, trying aim the dragoon is ridiculous. Opera Browser is good but your access to the Internet is hampered by the dead weight of Flash 7. It is a flash player but they are up to flash player 10. There reasoning is that they do not want kids to view harmful sites and that understandable but they also have parental control options. It is not all that bad because it can support YouTube. However the typing is pretty awkward and sometimes really stupid, if you want to find something quickly and hitting 2 to go to single column mode is moronic because you have to wait an hour for it to load single column and then an hour to go back to regular view. It isn't the worst thing you can have and it is a decent substitute for an actual computer but it needs to be able to have at a recent flash player.

MMORPGs

A trend that is sweeping through people's lives is the increase of MMORPG. Now I have only ever played a little bit of WoW but I can see some of appeal and what keeps people away. Some people are afraid MMORPGs will take away most of there social lives. While others find it fun to grind levels and complete quests and plan raids. I just want to know your opinions on MMORPGs. I believe if it is free and decent then why not.

Future of Video Gaming

We are deep into this console generation and I learn one thing a basic controller is more enjoyable than motion controls (The truth comes out Sony and Nintendo). I was wondering where can consoles go after this. Would they go back to regular controllers or will they have motion sensors that are horrible or maybe some decent motion controls. The next-generation should bring enough innovation to keep us busy. Maybe, if we are lucky, Nintendo will upgrade its graphics and will stop worry about little kids and create a decent internet browser and good internet gaming. Mircosoft just needs to keep doing what it is doing and not get arrogant (Sony!). Sony should start the generation with a lower price.
So How should consoles advance into the next generation?

The Legend of Zelda

The Legend of Zelda is a great series that has been a moneymaker for Nintendo since the 80s. This series has a lot of games in which the hero Link goes around exploring dungeons and saving Hyrule. Now I loved the series since I played Ocarina of Time on the N64 and I loved the Twilight Princess so when I heard the rumor that there could another one in production I was excited about what It could be about. However, there are some things on the internet that I want to address.

1. A lead Character who is not Link
That is like watching a spiderman movie about Superman
2. A game in the future
Why don't you throw some futuristic armor on him give him a gun and call him chief
3. A game without ties to Hyrule
Well, They already tried that I don't know how well it worked because I have never beaten them

The Legend of Zelda is an Excellent game series that has been around longer then I have and you don't always have to change the Formula in order to continue to have fun with the series. Changes is good when it is necessary but Reckless change will just do more harm then good.

Kimbo Slice

In the first 14 Seconds in the first round Seth Petruzelli defeats Kimbo Slice in place of MMA legend Ken Shamrock. This fight proves that is still inexperienced and will not have the same success he had on the street. Kimbo needs to work on his ground defense which is probably his weakest aspect but as important as striking. If Kimbo can keep on improving he should have a spectacular career in MMA.

Underground Internet

The Internet is a place where many pieces of information can be transferred from place to place in a matter of seconds but there are places on the Internet where a new breed is growing. I call them the lulz generation. These are the people who sit on the board on 4Chan waiting for the next big thing. I have been to 4Chan and it is not easy to navigate probably to keep out noobs. The boards are also littered with trolls (people who want to anger you) and that can get annoying. These are the people who laugh about mudkips, raptor Jesus, Shoop da whoops and all your base are belong to us(actual video game quote). To every body who is not with this group yet stay away if you are sensitive about things. There are moments of disgust and moments of unstoppable rofling.

The Buyout

Yesterday the Buyout to save some of the failing companies failed to pass and their are many excuses but still no action. Everyone sees that something is necessary but there are people who believe the senators need to take their time and plan wisely. There are also Republicans who are blaming Pelosi and her "partisan" speech and The Democrats are blaming Republicans for not passing the bill and hiding behind that excuse. Now come on who replaced our legislators with 4 year olds. I think we should take away their cookies and send to timeout and let them think about what could happen to our country if they all don't think on the right page.

XBox 360 and PS3

First I just want to know which 360 game do you think is the best

Next I just want to say that after a abysmal start to this generation the PS3 might be start to catch up to the 360. It has the power and potential to be a great system, It just has a problem with keeping its exclusives exclusive. At the last E3 it lost Final Fantasy XIII, that isn't a big lost to most gamers but that will increase 360 sales in Japan. I feel that if the PS3 achieves full power before the next generation, It could win the console war.

Economy

The Banks are Screwed and I guess the government feels like we are to blame and will probably force us to bail out a group of Excessively rich people who I am surprised didn't replace there blood with the tears from middle class citizens. It should be a buy out were the executives who put us in this mess lose all claim they have to their companies and be punished for this recession by having to pay for some of it out of their own wallets.

Call of Duty 5

This game of tug of war between two companies is annoying. Call of Duty showed that Activision knows what it is doing and should have the rights to the game. Instead they hand it back to the other company who make a dumb move and go back to WWII. If this game doesn't rewrite WWII history then it will fail. Even if it keeps Multiplayer from the 4th game, still will have a pathetic single player campaign with an extremly predictable ending.

In all kindness there are way to many sports blogs out there and i don't want to sound condescending but couldn't there be little more originality out there

Brawl

One game on the Wii which is holding Nintendo back from flying to Oblivion is Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It is one of the funnest games on the Wii. It is simple fighting game were you play as some of the most famous nintendo characters and have them fight to the death in a slew of different stages and large arsenal of weapons from bombs to ray guns to fans to poke balls there is definately enough here to keep you playing for a long time.

The Wii

The Wii is the new console by nintendo. They try to pretend that they are releasing games for everyone but leave their hardcore crowd straggling behind them as they fly away on a carpet of mediocracy. I have been nintendo fanboy all of my life but the Wii has ended that and now I will join mircosoft crew.
